Condor Grass proudly supplies Football fields filled with wood particles!

These wood particles specially designed to reduce the heat of artificial grass, among other things. It is made from a type of southern pine that is grown, harvested and replanted in continuous cycles.

The artificial turf systems with wood particle infill are certified and approved by FiFA and fulfil the requirements of the latest artificial grass standard of The Royal Dutch Football Association.

These non-toxic wood particles are a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to the controversial rubber crumb that lies on many artificial grass football fields. This product is 100% circular due to the fact that the wood particles, after being used on the field, return to the earth as a soil improver for natural grass fields, lawns and gardens. This way Condor Grass takes another step in the sustainable journey; “Care about our planet and the next generations”.

This infill, unlike rubber, does not cause any soil pollution. The smell is pleasant, you just smell pine wood. In contrast to cork, the wood particles do not float.

These wood particles generate less heat and cause less abrasion then rubber infill.

On Wednesday July 7th, Joop van Krimpen (Condor Grass) signed an agreement with Herman van Wiggen (Municipality of Montfoort) to install these two football fields filled with wood particles for Montfoort SV '19. These fields will be ready for the new football season that starts in September.
