ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATE ISO 14001:2015

VEBE carries the ISO 14001:2015 environmental certificate. The certificate proves that VEBE uses and guarantees an environmental management system with which they are committed to improving their own environmental performance. ISO 14001:2015 is a globally recognized environmental management standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). With this certificate, VEBE proves that the aspects of sustainability and of the environment are guaranteed in all business processes in the organization.

SUSTAINABLE TEXTILE PRODUCTION STeP OEKO-TEX

The STeP OEKO-TEX® certification offers a comprehensive analysis and evaluation regarding sustainable textile production. The aim of the STeP certification is the permanent implementation of environmentally friendly production processes, optimal safety and health at work and socially responsible working conditions. The OEKO-TEX® institutes carry out the analysis within the framework of six sustainable modules:

ECO-FRIENDLY CARPET GUT PRODIS

Many of the VEBE products carry the "carpet tested for harmful substances" seal from GUT, the Association of Environmentally Friendly Carpets (Gemeinschaft umweltfreundlicher Teppichboden e.V.). The aim of GUT is to improve the environmental and user-friendliness during the life cycle of textile floor coverings. GUT regularly performs product audits and annual checks at the manufacturers based on the latest scientific discoveries. The GUT seal confirms that all requirements for environmentally friendly floors have been met. The registration number shows that the product in question is registered in PRODIS. PRODIS is the first system for consumers that contains information about environmental friendliness and safety aspects, combined with quality and usage aspects of carpet.

PRODUCT CERTIFICATE TÜV PROFiCERT

Several VEBE qualities have been awarded the TÜV PROFiCERT product certificate. This certification provides information about the products and their production with health and ecology as a starting point. This also includes the following emission limit values:

THE ENVIRONMENTAL LABEL BLUE ANGEL

The Blue Angel environmental label certification guarantees that the products meet the high environmental, health and performance requirements. The assessment for the Blue Angel certification considers the entire life cycle of the products. The label provides independent, credible and demanding standards for environmentally friendly products.

SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE DGNB - GERMAN SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION COUNCIL

An important aspect in modern architecture is environmental friendliness and ecology. The DGNB – German Sustainable Building Council (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen) certifies products and buildings. VEBE is a member of the DGNB and promotes sustainable construction. The innovative qualities meet the requirements on this aspect and are used in ecologically certified DGNB buildings. The products make an active contribution to both the environmentally friendly construction and maintenance of the project. In addition, VEBE offers architects the certainty that the DGNB certificate can be obtained.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT ISO 9001:2015

VEBE manufactures and sells products with efficiency, sufficiency and consistency in mind. Carefully selected raw materials and efficient processing according to ISO 9001 certified processes form the quality basis for the high-quality textile floor coverings from VEBE.

Indoor Air Comfort Eurofins Gold Label

The Eurofins Indoor Air Gold Label may be used on all product groups of the Condor Group including VEBE since 2017. This label is the best proof that the products meet the strict low VOC emission requirements of Eurofins. The Indoor Air Gold Label is the highest achievable label in this regard and demonstrates that the product emissions also meet the criteria of many additional requirements and specifications issued by most of the relevant environmental labels in the European Union and the requirements for certification of sustainable buildings. Indoor Air Comfort Gold certificates are readily accepted as proof of sustainable building programs such as BREEAM international and LEED.

IMPROVE INDOOR CLIMATE CRI Green Label Plus

The Green Label Plus (GLP) program of the Carpet and Rug Institute CRI is recognized by, among others, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The Green Label Plus certificate is proof that the product has been tested and certified by an independent laboratory and meets strict criteria for low emissions.

The carpet industry has a long history of creating products that provide numerous indoor air quality benefits. Nowadays, indoor air quality is an important environmental consideration because we are spending about 90 percent of our time indoors. The CRI Green Label plus gives a recommendation in this regard.
